CARE AND MAINTENANCE

This abaya is made from cotton corduroy with a soft ribbed texture and a gentle stretch. Iron on the reverse side only using a low to medium heat, as direct heat on the textured surface can flatten the ribs. Allow it to air dry to keep the fabric soft and structured. You can hang it in a protective cover to help preserve the natural fabric and maintain the A line shape.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash in cool water only. Do not wash in hot water as cotton corduroy can shrink at high temperatures. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals as they can damage the textured surface. Always check the label on any stain remover to make sure it is suitable for corduroy fabric. A small amount of dish soap can help with light stains but test it on an unseen area first. Avoid scrubbing the ribs of the corduroy and let the fabric air dry naturally for best results.
